Tracking has gone really well! I'm 90% of the way there on parts recorded, just a solo here and a fill there to go. Then mixing and mastering. That's SOMETIMES the quicker piece.
The lead single will be "Sabrina". It's about stalking a certain pop star who is always murdering men in her music videos. It's one of the best songs I've ever done. It will be the first track on the EP for max "visibility".
For a couple of years I've had a concept album kicking around in my head and as of tonight, I have the basics in place - meaning a good amount is already recorded. It will be called The Anti-Woman EP. Basically it will be a bunch of bait for womyn. I'm hoping it will have more commercial appeal so I'm thinking a lot about album cover art.
Once this one is in the can, I'll have a more "Steven Franssen" album basically ready to go after that. It's already 90% done. I'm considering doing a music video for the Anti-Woman EP. A few lyrics I will likely have to tone down because I don't want to get banned from Spotify. Like, I REALLY don't want that to happen. If you'll remember, one of my strikes on YouTube before my 17k channel was banned was because I made a spicy comment about a woman's weight.
I have seven songs and Spotify limits EP's to six tracks, so I have ONE to cut. I'll get you a track listing once it's good to go!
